Our “Wellness in the Woods” event aims to celebrate health and wellness in all of its forms. We will be hosting a weekend of activities that promote a healthy mind, body, and spirit—including opening the Nature Preserve for FREE for a whole week!

9 AM: Little Eco-Scholars - Digging for Decomposers
LES is a program which introduces early learners to environmental and ecological principles through exciting and thoughtful games and simple projects. Eco-Scholars explore their five senses in the Nature Playscape
9 AM: Finding the Forest within You, Self-Guided Hike brought to you by the Theby Family - Hike introduction at the campfire pit
10 AM: Sound Healing with Healing Strings
Feeling fried and frazzled? A little jumpy? Weepy? When is the last time you allowed your body to fully and completely rest without being asleep? Music has the ability to wash you clean. Sound made with loving intention is nourishing and healing to your body and soul ❤️ Join Rebecca for a soothing soundscape in the sacred old growth forest of Wesselman Woods. Bring your yoga mat and blanket and while you melt away, she will play a variety of instruments such as Crystal singing bowls, drums, dulcimer, guitar, chimes, and my voice. At the end, Rebecca will teach you a humming technique you can use to help reset your nervous system when you are feeling overwhelmed!11 AM: Animal Encounter
