Sunday, October 26 from 10 AM to 2 PM
Presented by the University of Evansville chapters of Chi Omega and Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI)
The 3rd annual Owl Prowl is happening at Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve on Sunday, October 26th from 10 AM to 2 PM.
Guests can get free general admission on this day of educational activities with impactful local organizations OR... donate to become a walk-a-thon participant and help raise funds for the animal ambassadors of Wesselman Woods! Walk-a-thon participants will receive themed prizes.
Chi O and FIJI will compete to raise the most funds for the animals. Will you choose Team Chi O or Team FIJI?
Chi Omega “Why?”
The FIJI national mascot is also the owl. As a fraternity, (like many Greek chapters) we look for different ways to volunteer time and build fundraising traditions for causes that are close to the Fraternity’s values. Each year our fraternities and sororities organize events to fundraise for philanthropic partners nationally and locally. Wesselman Woods is so close to campus, appreciated by many students, and offers a way to promote owls, very valuable to the chapter. Finding ways to make the event better each year is a great chance to build a tradition/event that supports the park annually.
