Bug Blacklighting Event: Howell Wetlands

  • Howell Wetlands 1400 South Tekoppel Avenue Evansville, IN, 47712 United States (map)

Black lights (or ultraviolet lights) are a handy tool that entomologists use to study nocturnal insects. This attracts many moths and beetles because insects can actually see UV light.

Join Debbie Goedde at Howell Wetlands for an evening of insect hunting via blacklight!

Guests will meet outside of the shelter house, next to the parking lot.

No supplies needed but flashlights and/or headlamps can be handy. Masks and social distancing are recommended.
