With dropping temperatures, the forecast of heavy sleet and snow, and so many other closures/cancellations already being called for this weekend, Wesselman Woods has made the decision to close the Nature Center and Nature Preserve on both Saturday and Sunday, January 24-25
This decision is not made lightly! We found out that the roads in Wesselman Park will likely not be cleared until next week. Due to this added safety hazard, we want to err on the side of caution and protect our staff, volunteers, and the public.
We will be monitoring the situation of the roads and trails and posting updates, as we have them.
