In April 2024, the Evansville region will experience an event that won’t happen again for another 400 years: a total eclipse! On March 23, children ages 8-12 are invited to Wesselman Woods for a FREE interactive session about the science behind the eclipse.
RSVPs are REQUIRED and spots are LIMITED
This total solar eclipse will cause us to be in complete darkness for 3 minutes and 3 seconds in the middle of the day. Join our area’s NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador Mandy Scurry to learn about eclipse science, culture, history and art while collecting ways to make the most of this remarkable event happening in our own backyards.
The NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador program is a network of more than a thousand volunteers worldwide
